Uniform Resale

The Uniform Resale is a service offered to American Academy families to buy, sell, or donate gently-used approved uniform items for resale.
The Uniform Resale typically takes place durin g the last weekend of July. We will announce the date for next summer's event in the spring.

Call for Uniform Resale Committee Members
The Uniform Resale Committee is looking for two eager and dedicated candidates to join the committee as Treasurer and Sorting Session Lead. You must be able to commit to a minimum of 30 hours and be able to attend the July 21st Training from 6-9pm and the Annual Sale all day Saturday July, 22nd.
Treasurer Position
Treasurer: - Responsible for updating and posting Individual Seller Agreement in Survey Monkey and Microsoft Word document (needs to be posted and available on Uniform website page) - Make individual seller tabs (new) and pull out 3+ year sellers - Keep track of sale day records - Data-base individual Seller Proceeds Information in Excel - Pull out "Out of Date" envelopes and allocate to respective PTO - Prepare deposit for each PTO from donated items - Reimburse committee members - Proficient with Excel - Proceed Distribution Information
Sale Day/Sorting Session Lead
Sale Day/ Sorting Session Lead: -Responsible for working with Steve Cunningham for securing the rooms for sorting and supplies for sales day(table, rolling white boards, etc..) -Make room layout and make copies with price sheet on the reverse side -Responsible for managing the volunteers working the sale and packing up the unsold items -Manage the sales day Flyers- Pricing List, Map -Coordinating Volunteers with setting up sales floor -Responsible for organizing and overseeing the sorting sessions -Set dates for all sorting sessions -Communicate with Marketing/ Communicate with the Marketing/ Communication Lead with dates of carpool collection, flyers, etc. -Take bin to Green Earth/ Parker Location on last day of school -Manage collection boxes -Collect donations from families during carpool last week of school with volunteers -Pass out flyers during carpool last week of school with volunteers -Collect and wash lost and found items
