Homework Club Purpose
The purpose of Homework Club is to provide a stable, productive, and quiet environment in which students can complete their work after school and ask teachers for help when needed.
Homework Club Expectations
1. Students come to Homework Club ready to work with their homework and materials.
2. Students are quiet and working the entire time. They should ask the teacher if they need help, or they can read or find another educational activity to do if they have no homework.
3. Students need to follow the teacher’s direction when asked to collect their items and be ready to leave just before 4:25.
4. Students walk with the teacher first to Crash Club, and then to the front lobby for pick-up. All students must be picked up by a parent or pre-approved person. Students who are not picked up by 4:30 will be sent to Crash Club.
What if a students does not have any homework?
The student writes a note to submit to the teacher confirming that he or she has no homework. However, students are still responsible for coming to Homework Club with something productive to do.
