A Note About Summer Reading

Please be aware that the Douglas County Library has a backlog of requests for the two required summer reading books for third grade: "On the Mayflower: Voyage of a Ship's Apprentice and a Passenger Girl" by Kate Waters and "Walking the Road to Freedom" by Jeri Ferris. Barnes & Noble does not have any new copies of either of these books but they do have some copies available through their used book sellers. You may want to order your copies now so they will arrive well before the end of summer.
