Because Kids Grow is Coming Back!

Announcing the end of summer American Academy PTO's Used Uniform Sale, “Because Kids Grow”. Buy your "gently used" uniform items and required reading books (i.e. What your __ Needs to Know), at bargain prices on Thursday, August 7th, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. In the Multi-Purpose Room. We have done away with credits, so sellers will receive all $$$ from items sold.
All donated uniform items and donated books proceeds will go to our school. Drop off items to sell or donate in front office between July 28 - August 5. Or drop off in MPR on August 6th 4-6pm. Don't forget to donate your "What Your __ Grader ..." books.
Please go to the PTO web page to download the "Uniform Sale Information” document (revised since the first sale). ALL untagged items will be assumed as donations. The pricing is also included in this document. New to this sale - we are allowing people to sell: tights, socks, belts, shoes, Dennis hair accessories, and Dennis bike shorts that coordinate with the uniforms. Please refer to the above mentioned document for more information. Make sure to bring small denomination to the sale -- plenty of $1s and $5s ($20's if you plan to purchase plaids), or lots of checks. Got Questions? Contact The Used Uniform Committee

AR Summer Reading Update!

This Wednesday July 16th, The AR Summer Reading Club will be cancelled due to a personal conflict for Miss Lusk and Miss Smith. The next meeting July 30th is still on but will take place in Miss Lusk’s classroom. Don’t forget the 30th is an AR store day! Kiddos earn one AR Buck for every AR pint they earn to be used at the prize store so keep reading!

I've got a Bright Idea!

Do you? The PTO wants to know! If you have an idea for a fundraiser, event, program or seminar we want to know! Parents and teachers alike are encouraged to download both the Bright Idea form and financials page located on the PTO home page, fill it out (yes you can type right into it!) and email to the PTO or print it and leave it in the PTO mailbox at school!
